The beginning of summer.  You know how I love this weather. I will tell you something, it is so damn hot already.  Oh how I wish the SS still had AC.  I miss you my love.  I have not forgotten you, mom says I need to try and do something so I am.  It will never mean that I have forgotten you, I hope you always know that. I love and miss you.

To my lost love,

It has been three long years since you left this place and left me behind. I still cannot believe that you are gone. I speak of you in the present tense as if you are on your way back. Sadly my heart realizes that you are never coming back. 

I have tried to go on with my life but it seems that I have managed to mess that up too. Why is it that we realize what we have after it is already gone?  We were so different in some ways but the same in others. I realize now that there is no better match for me no matter how much I try to make it different. No one understands me so I push them all away.

I love you - I always have and I always will. I hope you are watching me make all these mistakes and are laughing becuase I can still hear you in my head. A little sign that you are there would also be greatly appreciated.

Before I left I wanted to see how your tree was doing. I know it doesn't look like much becuase it is still winter but it is still holding on.
