Today I saw a movie.  Two seats over was a fellow who looked just like you did in that picture of you with Max.  I remember you fondly.  I remember our close friendship in high school and the friends we hung out with.  Do you know how lucky you were to find Stacey?  I found someone too - he's wonderful, you'd like him.  Stacey is amazing and she's hurting so much.  Look over her Vinnie.  She loves you so very much and doesn't deserve such pain.  I can see the love in the things she writes.  She needs some sign from you.  Maybe the fact that I saw someone who looked exactly like you will give her some peace of mind.  I don't know.  But the holidays are among us and she needs some peace.  Some of our other older friends are up there with you.  Give them my love.  Smurf

Remember Me.....

Remember me on quiet days
When raindrops whisper on your pane;
But in your memories have not grief,
Let just the joy we knew remain.

Remember me when evening stars
Look down on you with steadfast eyes;

We'll Never Say Goodbye

I cannot see you with my eyes
Or hear you with my ears,
But thoughts of you are with me still
And often dry my tears.

You whisper in the rustling leaves
That linger in the fall,
And in the gentle evening breeze,
I'm sure I hear you call.

A part of you remains with me
That none can take away;

Light a Candle

I sit and wonder where the time has gone

A year has passed, how was I able to continue on.

 

Everything is different now but somehow I found a way

My will to move forward seems to get harder with each passing day

 

People tell me to move on and that I’m young I will find someone new

If they could only feel for a moment my suffering how quickly they would review

 

For this life I have brought on to myself this pain

For letting my love die…I am tormented, doomed to live a long life with this shame.
